188JILI GCash Wallet Limit: Every Profile, Every Cap

The GCash wallet limit that matters depends on your profile, and GCash changed its table effective 1 October 2026. GCash wallet limit by profile

GCash sorts every account into a profile, and each profile has a wallet limit, which is the most money the wallet can hold at any given time. New accounts start Basic; Fully Verified adds services such as Send Money and Bank Transfer.

GCash splits movement into incoming (what the wallet can receive) and outgoing (what can be spent and sent). The incoming and outgoing caps are the ones that stop a payout, because a payout is money arriving in the wallet and then leaving it.

Which limit stops a cash-out

Three caps can stop money on its way through a GCash wallet, and the one that bites is the one with the smallest headroom.

1. The wallet limit stops incoming money once the balance would pass the cap, so a Basic wallet with PHP 9,000 in it has PHP 1,000 of room.
2. The monthly incoming limit stops receipts for the rest of the month, PHP 5,000 on Basic, however empty the wallet is.
3. The monthly outgoing limit stops transfers and payments, for example a bank transfer on a Basic profile once PHP 5,000 has gone out.

GCash states the consequence plainly: if you reach a limit, you can’t use certain services until it resets on the 1st day of the following month or you upgrade your profile. Money sent to a wallet that has reached a cap is stopped by the wallet’s own limit, and a pending transaction in GCash is the next page to read for how long transfers take to settle.

Linked accounts and service limits

GCash allows adults up to five accounts, which are automatically linked to one customer profile; minors aged 7 to 17 can have one account per customer profile. When you have two or more linked accounts, the highest wallet and transaction limits apply to all of them, and limits are not combined into a higher total. GCash’s own example: if mobile number A has received PHP 1,000,000 in the month, the other linked accounts cannot receive funds until the incoming limit resets on the first of the next month.

Separate limits may also apply to GCash Card, GSave transactions and GCrypto transactions, and GCash says it may update, set or pause limits to follow BSP regulations and anti-money laundering mandates.

Raising your GCash limit

GCash’s help article says an adult with a Basic account can raise the limit to PHP 500,000 by getting fully verified; a minor can reach PHP 100,000 the same way. Verification takes 1 valid government ID: tap Profile > Verify Now, scan the ID, take a selfie, and GCash sends an SMS update after 3 days. To become a GCash Platinum holder, contact Globe directly.

GCash limits and casino payments
