Your Maya wallet limit depends on your account level, and Maya’s help centre publishes the figures article by article. This page reads those articles and quotes only what they state, so every number is Maya’s, not 188JILI’s. The fees that can sit beside a limit are compared in the cash out fee overview, and Maya’s own account limits page is where to read perks beyond the figures below.
Maya wallet limit by account level
Maya’s incoming transaction article, updated 31 March 2026, gives one figure per account type.
| Maya account | Limit |
|---|---|
| Basic | ₱50,000 |
| Upgraded | ₱100,000 |
| Super User | ₱500,000 |
| Ultimate Users | ₱5,000,000 |
A second Maya article, “Is there a limit for Maya transactions?”, says the cash in and spending limits vary by the status of your account and lists the same three lowest levels: Basic ₱50,000, Upgraded ₱100,000 and Super User ₱500,000. It also names a wallet limit of ₱100,000 as one of the changes when you move from Basic to Upgraded.
How to see and raise your limit
Maya’s help article says you can check your limits by tapping Profile > Account Limits in the Maya app. If you have already exceeded your monthly limits, you can wait until they reset on the first day of the next calendar month.
To raise a Basic account, upgrade it:
- Open the Upgrade page in the Maya app.
- Follow the instructions on the page.
- Have 1 primary ID or 2 secondary IDs ready.
- Finish in the app; Maya describes the upgrade as free and quick.
Maya says an Upgraded account boosts your cash in, spend and wallet limits to ₱100,000. The same article lists extras such as a Maya Savings account, sending money instantly to other Maya users, transferring to your bank accounts, and a free virtual Maya Wallet Card.
Transfer limits inside Maya
Maya’s “What are the limits related to my account?” article, updated 31 March 2026, lists limits for specific transfers rather than for the whole wallet.
| Transfer | Minimum per transfer | Maximum per transfer | Daily | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Maya Wallet to Maya Savings | None | None | None | PHP 500,000 |
| Maya Savings to Maya Wallet | None | None | None | Subject to your wallet’s monthly cash-in limit |
| PESONet transfers | PHP 100 | PHP 300,000 | PHP 1,000,000 | None |
The same article shows no limit on how many transactions you can make in a day or month for these transfers. For GCash’s equivalents, the GCash wallet limit table page lists each profile in full.
Maya fees that sit beside the limits
Limits and fees stop a transfer in different ways. Maya’s InstaPay article states a ₱10 fee for every successful transfer to another local bank, and says to make sure the amount does not exceed the applicable bank, e-wallet or InstaPay transaction limits and that you have enough funds to cover the amount and the fees. It lists four reasons a transfer is unsuccessful: an invalid or incorrect account number, a frozen or blocked account, a dormant account, and an account that has exceeded inflow limits.
For loading the wallet, Maya’s help centre says some over-the-counter locations charge a convenience fee worth 2-3%, and a 2% rebate voucher applies while a month’s cash in stays within ₱8,000. The cash in fee for each wallet page sets that against GCash and GrabPay.
Maya limits and casino payments
A limit table does not tell you which channel a casino offers. The 188JILI lobby’s footer row Paraan ng Pagbayad shows Maya (PayMaya) among its logos, and a promotion’s text names Maya as a deposit channel, but the amounts, fees and receiving details come from the deposit and withdrawal screens you reach after logging in. Read the channel list there and follow it, and compare the rail on the Maya casino payment page.
If a transfer stops on a limit, contact the wallet that holds the money. The Grab route for the other wallet is on the GrabPay customer service page, and the Maya Service Status page named in Maya’s article shows whether bank transfers are down.
